The famous social networking website facebook does impact your social life , But now it could impact your educational life as well . According to a survey conducted by kalpan at 386 top colleges in US 82 percent of the admissions officers indicated that their respective schools used Facebook “to recruit prospective student”
82% is a big number . If you post pictures on you facebook profiles with beers in hands , or strange tattoos on body or any mischievous looking pictures or status message then be cautious as it could impact your application of admission in college . So clean your profile .
Many applications of students were rejected because of the contents they have posted on facebook . By using social networks in a better way , you could also increase your chances of getting admission like posting a video resume on YouTube or blogging about volunteering efforts or other extracurricular activities and you can post all these on your facebook profile.
