Make your own fake virus with notepad

Want to pretend that you are a dangerous hacker with the ability to take down any PC, and after you read this article, you can do show off your skills with nothing more than Notepad.
Of course it is not a virus, but a program designed to determine if antivirus products are installed properly. The name of this testing program is derived from an organization named EICAR, or European Institute for Computer Anti-Virus Research. You can find more information at their website www.eicar.com.
Here is a procedure to make a fake virus in your computer:

Open up a Notepad window, paste in the following text, and then save it.

It should look exactly like this once you’ve pasted it…

And then you’ll almost instantly see a big fat warning that you’ve created a virus—as long as you’ve got anti-virus installed and working, of course.

If you don’t see any warning, you should probably make sure your virus scanning software is properly enabled.

When you click on clean computer the anti-virus will delete the file which you have save aftrer making it.

Studies have proved that we can work faster with keyboard than mouse . A lot of time can be saved by not moving your hand from keyboard to mouse frequently . By learning  keyboard shortcuts you can navigate whole web pages , click links ,cycle through tabs all without touching the mouse . You can check the list of standard shortcuts for Firefox , Chrome , Internet Explorer, and  Apple Safari .

4. Set your start page to blank

Start page is the page that is loaded when you open a new tab or window , we generally set it Google , yahoo or some news site  . We are not always intended to visit the site that is loaded by default .Even if you wanted to search for something, it’s far easier to type into the search bar at the top than to actually visit Google.com. So open your browser’s preference and set that page to “about:blank”, which means “don’t load a page at all”.

5. Use password management tools

You can save some time by letting your browser remember passwords (not if everyone uses your PC) . Password management tools are quite useful for those who don’t use same password for all accounts , which I believe everybody should do . Keypass is one such free password management tool

Google to shut down Buzz, will focus on Google+

Google will soon shut down the Buzz application, Vice President Bradley Horowitz announced on the Google blog on Friday.

“In a few weeks we’ll shut down Google Buzz and the Buzz API, and focus instead on Google+,” Horowitz said.

Users could post updates, messages, videos, etc. on their Buzz page and follow other users’ posts. Besides this, the Buzz API allowed users to share their activity across Google products like Google Reader, etc. and on other platforms like Twitter on their Buzz page.
